YSF: Minority Mental Health Month

Minority Mental Health Month Mental illness does not discriminate. It affects millions across the United States regardless of race, sexuality, or upbringing – impacting every aspect of their lives. But still, 80% of African Americans and Hispanics suffering from some sort of mental health condition receive no treatment at all. Joined by the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Miami-Dade (NAMI) board member Carlos Larrauri, former NFL Running Back Larry Johnson shares with us his own very public struggles (domestic violence & multiple arrests) that eventually led to him being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and motivating local youth.
